Scattered Sites Program

Youth admitted to this program are placed by the Courts or have progressed through the Transitional Life Skills Program at Whitington.

This apartment program is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Who Is This Program For?

  • Males and Females
  • Ages 17-21
  • Individuals motivated to attend school, be financially responsible, and maintain employment

What Can This Program Do?

  • Gives teens the opportunity to put learned life skills to work
  • Offers young men and women ages 17 and older an opportunity to live on his/her own
  • Offers the youth financial, educational, and emotional support while decreasing supervision as the youth progresses
  • Ability to continually maintain and enhance his/her life and parenting (if applicable) skills

Case managers provide greater intensity of services after initial placement. Case managers provide continued assessment and support to the teens working to increase responsibility.

This program has 3 phases with each progressive phase increasing the client’s financial responsibility. The discharge goal includes each client being financially self-sufficient.
